Specimen Collection and Preparation
1. Venous whole blood collection: collect blood with anticoagulant tube.
2. For serum samples, blood specimens are collected by venipuncture into a tube without anticoagulant and allow it to clot. Separate serum from blood as soon as possible to avoid hemolysis. Use only clear, non-hemolyzed specimens.
3. For plasma specimen, blood specimens are collected by venipuncture into a collection tube containing anticoagulant, centrifuge collected specimens and carefully withdraw the plasma into a new pre-labeled tube.
4. Testing should be performed immediately after the serum/plasma/whole blood specimens have been collected. Do not leave the specimens at room temperature for prolonged periods. If it cannot be immediately detected, it can be stored at 2~8℃ for 3 days. For long term storage,serum/plasma specimens should be kept below -20℃. Do not freeze whole blood sample in any case.
5. Ensure that samples kept cold or frozen are allowed to return to room temperature prior to testing.
Test Procedure
Carefully read the reagent instruction before using the test kit and strictly operate according to the instruction to ensure reliable results. Bring test device, buffer and specimens were restored to room temperature 15-30℃(59-86℉).
Please keep the temperature at 15-30 ℃ and the humidity at 20%-80% during the whole test.
(1)Take out the test device from sealed foil pouch and place on a dry, clean and level surface.
(2)Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 1 drop (about 40μl) of whole blood/serum/plasma to the specimen well(S), then add 1 drop (about 45μl) of buffer.
