Intended use

Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP) is an inflammation of the lungs caused by infection with Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP), which can involve the bronchi, fine bronchi, alveoli, and interstitium. Infection with Mycoplasma pneumoniae does not necessarily cause pneumonia, and Mycoplasma pneumonia may occur only when Mycoplasma pneumoniae invades the lower respiratory tract of the body.
